The
dual carriageway was the only option for the first 20km. This was made
bearable by the fact that 3 other British cycle tourers called Danny,
Jamie and Jess caught us up and cycled with us telling stories of there
travels.
The afternoon was much nicer on smaller roads mainly
along deserted beaches and through coconut palm groves. We entered Sam
Roy Yot national park which was created to preserve its fantastic
forested limestone peaks amidst fisheries and salt pans. Half way
through the national park all five of us pitched up in a campsite next
to the beach.
