Day 61, 89km: by Chris

Made good progress in the morning although we passed a few 'chasers' - luckily it was downhill so escape and taunting was easy. Most Chinese dogs however, are tiny light coloured creatures with bulbous eyes and a protruding bottom jaw. They look ridiculous and pose no threat whatsoever and both I and they know it. The decision to stop for lunch early today was an easy one as we were both  craving the prospect of real bread with real cheese and tomato sandwiches. We then climbed a big pass in drizzle and looked for a camp site on the other side, but there were farms, villages, crops and Chinese people everywhere so we had to solider on to the next town with a cheap hotel. Amy declared that she was finished by the end.
