It
rained pretty much all day today. Thankfully the small road on our map
is paved (i had feared it might not be). Chris found a lovely dry lunch
spot under a road bridge. But for the rest of the day we were very glad
of our waterproof coats. It was so wet that even Chris passed up some
prime camping opportunities in favour of a guesthouse. We stopped at a
tiny town with a newly refurbished hotel above the shop and ate in the
restaurant next door watching the rain outside.

ReplyDeleteI will remember this FOREVER and will definitely pull this story out of the bag next time he tries to make we wild camp in the rain. AH ha ha, I'm so happy. Evidence. In writting and on the internet.
